The Swarm lamp is a great piece of contemporary design for its ability to attain the feeling of suspended motion. Combining solid oak with a Specialty Bulbrite light bulb that reveals a sculptured pattern of intertwined filaments, Swarm nods to its Scandinavian heritage. The lamp is beautiful whether it is hung individually or in group. The angle of each lamp can be adjusted in different directions allowing everyone to choose the best way to enlighten their space. Praised on the design scene, Swarm was selected as the number one piece of lighting furniture at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Jangir was working on the interior design of a restaurant when he was asked to source a cool lamp in a cosy home-like atmosphere. Not convinced with what he found, he decided to design the lamp himself. And so was born the Swarm lamp. Jangir wanted the lamp to be very organic and started to research all types of flying organisms, from bugs to bees. A little bit overwhelmed with the variety offered in nature, he decided to focus on the basic shape common to all. This is why he named the lamp Swarm, to represent the archetype of the flying organism.
